I was briefed by Garrie to design a campaign poster heavily inspired by Nike's vintage shoe posters. Drawing from the essence of these iconic posters, I incorporated key elements such as the typography and the central clothing image. Despite having creative freedom in shaping the design, my primary objective was to maintain a laser focus on the clothing itself. This directive ensured that the poster would prominently feature the apparel while incorporating the stylistic elements reminiscent of Nike's classic shoe campaigns. Through this project, I blended artistic freedom with a specific focus, resulting in a visually appealing and compelling campaign poster that effectively showcased the clothing Garrie had envisioned.
I seamlessly extended my creative efforts beyond designing the campaign posters by producing an engaging promotional video using After Effects. This dynamic video served as a perfect complement to the posters during the highly anticipated drop day. What made this initiative even more impactful was the strategic decision to showcase the promotional video on Ultralight's Instagram story. By combining visually striking elements with captivating motion graphics, the video not only enhanced the overall marketing campaign but also effectively captured the audience's attention. This cohesive approach, integrating both print and digital media, ensured a unified and compelling brand narrative, generating significant excitement and anticipation among viewers for the product launch.
